College Student Starts One of the Better Pages on the Internet

The primary reason for me making this website was because I was sick of the fact that I was not the first result on Google when you search for Kevin Dolan. In fact, I’m not even on the first page. I thought about it, and I’ve never really done any SEO (Search Engine Optimization) work on my own name. I figure, neither have a lot of the other Kevin Dolans, so it shouldn’t be long before I’m on top. So, it begins today.
Well this might be th place to introduce myself. My name is Kevin Dolan, obviously. I’m pretty much the coolest person I know. I’m amazingly successful at everything I do, and my skillset is rather diverse. I’m currently a rising Junior at Cornell University, studying Computer Science. I independently operate several websites, and I do freelance web development work under my company, DesignByDolan. I’ve had clients ranging from simple little flash sites all the way to full database-driven websites. I specialize in User Interface design, but hey, who isn’t these days?
When I’m in Ithaca, I live in the Grand Opening House, which as you all know is the best place to party in Ithaca. My housemates are also fairly awesome, but you already know that. Some of them play in this band, Weggalo Star. It’s pretty much the coolest band ever, you should check it out.
I’m currently bouncing between Ithaca and Pittsburgh. I don’t have a steady job right now, but I have been picking up random contract after random contract, so that’s pretty awesome. Lately I’ve been developing some traceability software for a local food manufacturer in the Pittsburgh area. At the moment I’m staying at the house I grew up in, which has its ups and downs. It is fairly likely that I will be moving into a pretty awesome pad of my own in the next week or so. But we will see.
