Needless Controversial Blog Post
As we are all well aware, evolutionary theory tends to imply that the human species originated long ago, somewhere on the African continent. That being said, it is probable that the first man was a black man. For one reason or another, this really upsets the white supremacists. I would like to explore that sentiment a little bit further…
I’m not really sure where these sentiments of white supremacy originate– perhaps the ideas are true (probably not…) or perhaps it is just a long-standing tradition some people are just unable or unwilling to abandon. Still, racism is real and some people are just downright adamant about it.
Often, these are also the type of people who translate the bible literally, and think that man and dinosaur once lived together in Europe or some other nonsense. They don’t usually buy into evolutionary theory, and that’s cool I guess.
But then there are some white supremacists who do believe in some type of evolution. It is these people that really confuse me the most, because all the real evidence that has ever been gathered as to human evolution indicates an African origin. Despite this, these people try to put forward some type of alternative theory, some multiple-origin theory that man independently evolved in many different places of the world and these became the major human races.
Oh please; as if that could ever happen. Do you seriously expect me to believe that the world’s diverse environments actually produced, independently several species that were somehow able to successfully mate; and furthermore, from which species did these species evolve from. If they all had a common ancestor, where did it originate if not Africa? If they didn’t, what drugs are you on?
But the validity of the out-of-Africa model is not the subject at hand. It’s the simple question of why white supremacists need so badly for the out-of-Africa model to be false? Why does originating from black man somehow invalidate their feelings of superiority?
I mean, let’s look at it logically here. In many ways, you can say that the Ford Mustang originated from the Ford Model T. Does that mean that in a mile drag-race the Model T would woop the Mustang? I don’t think so.
I’m not calling for an end to racism here, I’m just asking these racist bastards to explain to me why it’s so damn important to deny out-of-Africa in the face of insurmountable evidence.
